The buffer tube endplate prevents the tube from rotating. Made from steel with a carbonitrided surface. Compatibility: Mil-Spec and Com-Spec buffer tubes. AR-15, AR-9, AR-10 and similar lower receivers. All ARMACON stock adapters and adapters from other manufacturers with endplate recesses.

The steel retaining plate is surface-hardened and treated for corrosion resistance. It does not rust in fresh water.
